A Planning application for an extension to Crescent Nursing Home is to be considered by Planning Committee on 27th October. Andrew has asked for the planning committee to determine it instead of it just being considered by planning officers. ‘I am concerned that much of the work has already been done’ said Andrew, ‘and that this is another attempt at overdevelopment in a pleasant residential area. It is important that local concerns are heard’.

‘The planning officers are recommending refusal, but I will be attending the committee to urge councillors to support their recommendation’ Andrew concluded.

Planning permission has been unanimously refused by the committee at its meeting on Tuesday night.
